          Around

          Circulating the ball in preparation to penetrate the opposition; assisting in provoking disjointed opposition movement; bypassing opponents’ outside of their team shape.

          Through

          Playing penetrative passes between opposition players; eliminating an opposition unit in build up to gain territory.

          Into

          Playing aerial passes with intention of the receiving player being able to control the ball for next action, and sufficient speed to prevent opposition block advancing with higher defensive pressure.

          Onto

          Playing aerial passes to teammates optimising the chances of a first time ditribution under pressure or a Possession contest.

          Playing aerial passes to teammates with the intention of the receiving player being able to receive behind the opposition defensive line.

          Pass clearance

          Where a goalkeepers distribution intention is inconclusive due to a hurried nature of distribution, typically when under pressure from opposition players or when the Goalkeeper is required to play the ball out of play for injuries.

          Unintended execution

          Where a goalkeeper's distribution intention is inconclusive due to poor attempted technical execution.
